built in 1997. I assumed it was from limestone deposits underground as this is not far from north florida.  its about 10' deep and 30' in diameter.

I read to fill it with clay soil, but was wondering if there were any environmental/permit considerations.

Has anybody had experience with a sinkhole on a property?

I recently bought a tax deed to a home that has a sinkhole that formed in 2008 and has apparently not affected the structural integrity of the home. The home was abandoned and subsequently auctioned.

This is in Thomas County, Georgia near Thomasville.
