I want to list a home and am trying to think of alternative ways for my property to get attention. It is in a housing market that is predominately short term rental and the market activity has slowed significantly since corona.

One thought I have is to sell it FSBO and offer a high buyer (4%).

My question is - Should I list it for 4% less and try to go after buyers with no agents or offer the high buyer commission and gross up the selling price. The selling price in each scenario is 620k vs. 595k.

I would look at ways to get out of the investment as it doesn’t seem viable. If I insistent on keeping the property, find value add opportunities to increase rental income. Potentially rent out land?

Thanks for the info!

Thanks @Greg Dickerson.

Hi! I have been investing in multi family homes for a few years now and am starting to look at other opportunities within real estate. Recently I was approach by a business partner about building an apartment complex. Does anyone have any experience whether in W. Michigan or otherwise and have any ideas where to start? My biggest concern is finding a builder.

Thanks in advance!

Jeff
