Post: buying a rental on a section 8 in place?

Hi everyone,

im about to put an offer on a condo numbers look good but the tenant in place is a section 8 $650 out of the program $ 225 from the tenant, this will be my first property so i really don't know if the section 8 part its good or not comments?

Thank you all so much thats awesome feedback my gut feeling tells me it's definitely to narrow for a BRRRRR or just to hold on for cash flow it is in a market about an hour from where we live and I'm just doing my homework on a number of properties again thank you so much

@Dennis M thank you for looking in to it, though what part doesn’t seem realistic? The numbers are real data I forgot to mention that there is a tenant currently on a month to month basis paying and willing to sign a lease   For the market rent @$775 I don’t know if that changes your opinion

does it make sense to do a BRRRR if at the end you dont create a lot of +cash flow but you get your money out and keep 30% equity on the property?
