Thank you all for your replies.  It sounds like, as long as I have a good title attorney and closing company that they will know how to transfer the property into my name and worst case scenario is that I'll have to figure out a way to refinance.  I have a good relationship with my lender so I don't think this will be an issue.  Again I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

I am new to the Subject To strategy and have been attempting to gather as much information as possible.  Most of it seems pretty positive but I was warned that a property that I purchased could be seized by a court if the seller files bankruptcy.

Is this true?

How do I mitigate this risk?

Thank You for your time!
