@Jill DeWit Thank you for your reply! I've read a lot of success comes through direct mailing. I will have to make a budget for it. Seeing that I'm just barely starting out, what course of action do you recommend seeing that I don't have that much capital to work with yet? Also, what service to you use for direct mailing to get all of those specific characteristics that you mentioned in your post?

Thank you for your time!

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to begin wholesaling here in the great state of Texas and I'm trying to absorb any and all information about wholesaling. I'm in the Waco, Texas area and my goal will be to wholesale 1 property per 2 months in the year 2017.

My question is this, what is the best way to get started in wholesaling? Do you recommend any articles, books, forums, or anything for me to gain a better understanding of wholesaling? I want to be as professional as possible. Reputation is everything and I don't want do a deal before I know somewhat of what I'm doing so I can get the best deal for the seller and investor for the properties I'll attain.

Sterle,

Thank you for your post. I had no idea that I could wholesale throughout the entire United States, that's incredible. What is the best way to virtually wholesale in your opinion? Is there any specific website that comes to mind when you say that? How would it be possible to co-wholesale with one another? I'm looking to get started as soon as possible, currently I'm attempting to learn more before I fully do so.

My goal for wholesaling is to do 1 deal per 2 months in the year 2017. I will soon live in the Waco, Texas area and will be attending Baylor university. This will be a part time venture but I know that it will take hard work, time, and dedication. I'm looking for advice on how to begin wholesaling. I listening to the podcast, read the forums, articles, and books. I'm looking for overall advice for wholesaling. I understand that the topic can be broad, but really just how to begin and get started. I look forward to reading the feedback! -Jeff Lively Jr.

Hello everyone! My name is Jeff and I'm brand new to both bigger pockets and real estate. I found bigger pockets and it is such a huge blessing, all of this information in one place is incredibly helpful and inspiring.

My situation may not the occasional story, I'm soon to be attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas and want to start my career in real estate while also attending school. Will this be hard? Of course. But part time is what will fit my schedule and part time is better than no time. I've learned that if you want something you put your head down and do the work. I look forward to the challenges that are to come.

I want to start with wholesaling, as I've been reading through the forums, books, articles and the podcasts have been saying. Getting my feet wet in understanding the industry and learning how to properly handle deals is something I look forward to learning and becoming more fluent in.

I look forward to interacting with individuals who have the same mindset of becoming financially free and better the lives of not only themselves but of those around them!

God bless.
