I have a HELOC with PNC bank which I have used for financing some rental properties in Baltimore city. My HELOC with PNC is not interest only - the monthly payment includes interest and principle payback.

btw if you want to rehab for section 8 tenants you need to remove all the lead paint and get a lead safe certificate from section 8 - are aware of that process?  I am not doing rehabs myself but buying from other rehabbers who know the process well.

I have rentals in Baltimore City and I have business insurance policies with Erie.  Cant tell you about claims though as I have not made one yet.

Hi Bill and thanks for the note. I am also investing in Baltimore City rowhouses - for section 8 tenants. What is your outlook for the city at this point with the riots and all? I live in Northern VA and dont get up there that often - so I dont have a insider's feel for things.
