No ill be moving from the rural area where I bought that house to a bigger city

Thanks Eliott! and what happens when I move and want to buy my own home?

Thank you for your input Josef. And what about when we move in the next 2 or 3 years to the city, Colorado springs. How will we go about buying our own home if we put our investment in the SFH in the rural area?

Hi investors,

Im thinking about moving out of rural colorado in about 3-4 years, currently renting cheaply with my wife an apt (600/ a month). Theres a home thats available for us to buy, 4b 2b @175k. is it worth it to buy it if we will move in the city in about 3 years? or should we save money to buy a house in the big city?

Im currently not working at the moment and it'll take about 4 months for me to get back to work again (Im a dental hygienist). With alot of time that I have now, I was thinking in getting my certification to become a RE agent. is it worth it? what are the pros and cons as an aspiring RE investor as well?

Thanks

@Bonnie Low Thank you for your thoughtful response. I live in Lamar, SE Colorado. Not sure about the market here but from what you are saying is pretty much buy only if it would have returns for my investments or if the market is good here and NOT buy if it’s not?

Hi guys,

New to the RE world and aspiring to start investing. I currently live in a small town in rural Colorado, renting an apartment for $575 a month and I’m working in the town for 4 years. After that, Hopefully I plan on moving to the bigger cities in CO which are very expensive!

My question is, should I buy a house here if I know I’ll move in the coming years or should I save and continue renting and then buy later. I’m looking at a great way to start into the RE world. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. :)

@Nathan G. Thank you for your very descriptive answer and God bless You for that!

Im already reading a how to invest in RE by B. turner and listening to some podcasts and learning from them. I have no debt. I need to save up for sure. How much savings does one need to get foot in the door?

As an aspiring and kind of a newbie in the RE world. What are some practical tips that help one get started? I’m still renting out an apartment and have no house of my own yet. Don’t know if this matters or not.

Thanks for your help in advance :)
