Great thanks for the tip! I assumed as much, but it's a bit of a bummer with the price of the courses and all.

Hi there,

My wife and I are both looking to get our license and start a team (in MN). I would think we could both learn from the same material in the online course, but would that qualify us both for the necessary prerequisites?

I'm going to take a guess the course creators would want us to pay them twice, but is it possible to share the information with someone who I'm married to? Are courses assigned to one person and one person only?

Maybe a stupid question but thanks for any advice.

Post: Looking to flip in unsure city

Hi everyone. I am looking to move back to my hometown of Duluth MN. I want to start flipping houses there. I have never done this and am hoping to break into the market. The problem is I can't decide if this city has any real potential. It looks to have an inventory of about 5-6 months, and the population hasn't grown much in the last 30 years (about 85k) so I can't imagine a lot of people are moving in and buying. There are plenty of older homes that could use a renovation and I know the area very well. I just cant decide if a smaller and somewhat stagnant city is a good place to begin this career or if I should try to make my way in a place like Minneapolis that has probably more potential.

Thanks for any help!

With the current state of events it looks like there's going to be a large downturn in housing sales in the coming year/s. I currently work admin for a good brokerage and have been offered to become one of their agents if I get my license. This area is for luxury 2nd home sales primarily. Would it really be a good idea to invest my time and lots of money into this field when there's a downturn happening?

Thanks!
