I'm new to HUD how do you go about finding them? The multi-units especially.

I have a vacant 18 unit (24 units if basement is added) that I want to purchase. It's in chicago and I want to find a partner to go in with me to help offset some of the resources needed to remodel to get rent ready. How would you guys suggest I do that? I've been to the meetings and met lots of interested parties but doesn't seem to mesh well and I don't want to rush anything that could go south. Any tips would help even a direction of the type of person I should be looking for. Feel free to message me or reply here with any information thanks.

@Jahnae Allen do you have a PMI requirement for your HML or just the deal is the determining factor?

What about the Columbia heights area what are you guys thoughts? Nice area priced retail but rent in the area makes the ROI decent.

@Chris L. you handle hard money lending in the DC area as well?
