Jumping in here because I have been struggling with this for my rural property since we purchased earlier this year... we've been on the Starlink waiting list since then (but still not available until late 2022)... However, Starlink just released its RV version without a waiting list. I ordered, received in less than 2 weeks and it has been great. A few caveats before you pull the trigger...

- They say that if the area you are in is on a waitlist vs active coverage (check the map here), you may experience slower speeds... basically from my understanding, they can slow you down vs other residential members.

- I have no idea if I could transfer my Starlink RV account to a residential one when the time comes. I was willing to take that risk. RV version is $25/ mo more than residential. Starlink is notorious for having no customer service contacts... so I really don't know if. how to do this.

-Overall, the speed has been really good. I haven't been living at the property yet, but I've seen download speeds anywhere from 25mbps up to 120 mbps.

Overall, it has been worth it. I am setting up 4-6 short-term rentals currently and did not want to go into it without somewhat reliable internet. Happy to share anything else I've found, just hit me up.

@Sean Ellis I would echo exactly what @Mike Dorneman said in terms of starting with Facebook. It is a lower barrier of entry for most. Targeting is really good, no minimums, and easy enough to set up.

In terms of an exact marketing mix (ex. 50% to Facebook, 25% to ListSource, 25% to Google), that'd be a tougher question for me to answer. Even for large (non-RE) clients that I work with, it's a test and learn always. I'm sure there are some others in the forum that have a longer track record and opinions. But, this probably differs a lot person to person.

I see you're in Fort Worth, let me know if I can be a resource. I work at a large digital advertising agency here and looking to get into Real Estate investing more seriously this year.
