Hello, I´m in Northern Mexico.  I second Johnathan Hankins´ opinion.  I invest in the U.S.  No reason to miss out on systematized institutional markets with terrific tax incentives in exchange for other thrills with great ocean views.  Its sad, but true.  Unless you know your way around, Mexico is still a long way from having an investor friendly environment.  Best wishes on your real estate journey, and God bless!

Congratulations Andrés!  Sounds like you´re on a path to an alternate career in real estate. I would only suggest that you don´t underestimate the U.S. real estate market; few countries offer the benefits of real estate investing like the United States, i.e. financial products, tax benefits, robust institutional systems, etc.  That said, best wishes on your real estate journey, and God bless!

Hello David.  I understand the scaling-up dilemma.  Partnering with other like minded investors is a great way to scale your real estate business and grow your portfolio.  My partners in Ace Capital Fund and I are joining forces with other sponsors/syndicators/operators to leverage time, knowledge and money and participate in larger deals.  We just invested as co-GPs in a 171 unit in Lincoln, Nebraska, which is a project I could not have gotten into otherwise.   I have not closed with hard money lenders, but given the narrowing margins between bank rates and hard money lenders, i believe now is good time to assess their financial products.  Please feel free to reach out if you want to expand on this.  Best wishes on your real estate journey, and God bless!

Hello Nichoals.  I am investing in the McAllen metro area from Monterrey, Mexico.  While we do not hold any STRs, we do believe that it is a great market for medium term rentals such as traveling nurses.  The Rio Grande Valley has two major economic drivers: 1) medical and 2) education.  You may also want to look into this.  Best wishes on your real estate journey, and God bless!
