Hey what's up BP community? I'm new to REI and I'm looking for a mentor/partner with experience in wholesaling and flipping in New Jersey. I'm not looking for anyone to give me deals, instead I've found a way to find some good deals while still working a full time job. If any investors want to discuss business over some coffee, please PM me so we can meet up, thanks.

How's it going BP? I'm still learning a lot on REI. So I was wondering how would you go about finding out how your market in your area is doing? If it's going up, down or staying consistent. How do you know if you have a good deal compared to properties around it? How do you aquire this information? Thank you in advance and sorry for the noobie question lol.

@Jeff Rabinowitz Thank you for the input Jeff! I've messaged one of the group organizers in my area and let him know that I was interested in attending one of his meetings.

@Nathan Paisley Thanks! love Nissan as well. Goal is to import a R34 GTR to the states eventually, but first I've got to set my future up for success!

Good morning everyone! I'm new to real estate and was just curious if anyone has ever been to real estate group and what their experience was going to one. Right now I'm currently studying/researching the most I can before I start become and investor. I would like to find a mentor, I'm not looking for them to do everything for me, But to guide me through the steps that one has to take to get everything done. I know that someone isn't going to help me if I have no value to bring to them. Now I'm getting carried away lol... please tell me your experience at one of these groups and would you recommend a novice like me to attend one?

Hey, hows it going everyone? my names Jonathan and I live in New Jersey. I have no experience in real estate as of right now. I've been reading books, watching podcasts/videos online. Doing as much research as I can to understand and move forward. I'm currently working at a Nissan dealership as a Technician. I've recently decided that I wanted to take control of my life and stop working for money, instead have money work for me. I know that real estate is not a "get rich quick" solution, but something that will take a lot of time, passions, blood, sweat and tears. I'm willing to give it my all and hustle for what I want. I joined BiggerPockets so I can get more knowledge and understanding of real estate and some guidance and advice. So hopefully you guys can help me and maybe eventually I can help you.
