Hi everyone, 

I am currently looking for investment opportunities in the Huntsville, AL metro area. I am looking particularly in areas south of downtown and in the Madison city limits. My criteria for single-family homes is as follows: 3 BD / 2 BR, $125,000 - $175,000 range, and need mild updating/remodeling. I am also open to multi-family (4 units or less). I am hoping to close on a property by the end of the year.

Hey everyone,

My name is Jerome Compton (everyone calls me J. for short), and I have recently started both my professional and investor career in real estate. In August, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia to began my real estate banking analyst position in affordable housing at Regions Bank. My long term professional plan is to become a real estate developer with a strong interest in affordable housing. For investing, my plan is purchase my first investment property in the form of a "house-hack" in the Atlanta metro area and continue to grow my investment portfolio to provide me with the financial freedom that I desire. 

I came across bigger pockets through its excellent podcast on Apple's podcast app and have been hooked on real estate investing ever since. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising in the gym, running around Atlanta, traveling the world, fishing, watching college football, and snow skiing. I also enjoy cooking and listening to my extensive collection of classic rock vinyl records. I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from the best school on the planet, The University of Miami "The U". 

I am really excited about my career in real estate and to connect with the great Bigger Pockets community and the real estate industry as a whole. I hope to see you around either in the forums or in the Atlanta area!
