Hey @Lance Moore thanks for the welcome! I had not heard of renters warehouse either but I just looked them up. Seems to be a  one stop shop for well. They give rental quotes, manage properties and have a legal team.

@Patrick Ryan In certain areas of STL it appears that is the case. I have just recently started looking at more properties that meet that criteria. Would be more potential for dealing with section 8, which is something I no little about. So I am going to start researching that as well.

My name is Joshua Baynes, I am from Saint Louis, MO. I have been a member for some time but for some reason never took advantage of all of the great information being shared in these forums. I have just gone through and completed my profile and wanted to take this time to introduce myself. 

I stumbled upon real estate investing two years ago when I started preparing to purchase my first home. At that time the only benefit I knew to purchasing over renting was building equity. I'm really glad I did some research and learned about the different ways to make passive income using real estate. I closed on my first property, a duplex, in January of this year. I currently live in one unit and rent the other out and cannot wait to purchase another property! 

Although my only involvement with BP has been religiously listening to podcasts and a couple book purchases until now, I look forward to getting more involved on the forums. Hope to talk to you soon!
