Post: Roofstock for newbie

Hello,

I have been following properties on Roofstock for a few months. Found a property I like, getting ready to jump in. My due diligence process is not that great, relying mostly on public websites and Roofstock's analysis. I will be investing as an out of state investor. Can anyone share some insight on Roofstock? At this point I think getting in there is the best way for me to learn the process. Otherwise, I feel like I will keep coming up with excuses on why the property is not fit. The feedback I've seen for Roofstock has been positive so far.

Best,

Jay

Hello,

Been looking at single family homes for about a year now. I think I may be focusing too much on the price of the home vs the cashflow. Reaching out for advice from experienced investors on whether it's worth going 3-5k more than what I think the home is worth to just get started. The home's rent will still be more than 1% of the cost in a decent location.

Best,

Jay

Jason Gines Hi Jason, I’m interested in buying my first property in Roofstock. Is there a way I can contact you directly on some feedback? The prices I’m concerned about, I’ll google a home address and the value is about 20k less on Zillow than what Roofstock lists
