Great work. I’m curious did you do the work yourself or did you contract it out. I recently did a flip in Indy area. I did about 90% of the work myself. I would be interested to talking with you about your flips and see if we can bounce any ideas off each other. PM me if you want.

Hi Derek. That’s awesome that you want to stay locally in Indy and be an investor. I am also a new investor in Indy who has done one deal. I’m looking for opportunities to do my next one. I am open to single family and multi family. I would be happy to chat with you and tell you about my experiences and share the local vendors I have used. Send me a PM

Hi Carson,

Congrats on deciding to save for you first rental.  I have one property so I am still a new investor, but would be happy to help you get started.  I also went to Ball State.  Just send me a message if you want to connect.

Hi Cameron,

I am also a new investor in Indy. I have one BRRR under my belt and looking to acquire a second one now. Would love to connect and chat to see how we can help each other out. DM me to connect.

Quote from @Andrew Postell:

@Jayson Schuetz congratulations on taking that first step!  To grow your network I would recommend to try some local real estate meetup groups. Meetup.com is a good resource for those but some of the groups will also post here on Bigger Pockets Marketplace too. Even facebook might have some good local groups for you. Some of those facebook groups have thousands of members. Eventbrite too. But post locally for this. That’s the best bet.

Thanks Andrew.  Yes I plan to go to some local meet ups.  Thanks for those websites.  I will check them out.

Hey Rookie or experienced investors!

I recently just completed my first BRRRR and learned a lot from the process. I did the entire rehab myself so I have those skills, but I am looking for some help this time around to scale faster. I am interested in meeting more local investors to grow my network. I am hoping to find some like minded investors that are focusing on the BRRRR strategy with single or small multi family homes that we could help push each other and grow. I do have a lot of knowledge and skills and small network that would hopefully benefit other investors and in turn would help grow a portfolio. If anyone is local in the Indy area and wants to connect please message me. Looking forward to growing!

I got on here to post and you have already received recommendations on my top ones - LivIndy, T&H, and Harvey -- I also would like to add Triple E - they have done a great job for OOS investors and communication.

 Gloria,

Thanks for the recommendations.  I haven't heard of a few of those.  I will reach out to them.

Thanks Nick.  I did speak with them and so far they have the most interesting finance options.

Lake City, First Merchants, Horizon, Forum Credit union, TCU (now called evergreen), etc

Thanks so much for the recommendations.

I was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation for a local bank or credit union In Indianapolis for a loan on a long term rental property?  Also interested in refinancing and delayed financing if any lender friendly options are out there.
