Windsor is very much a community in transition however we feel that there is a lack of quality student rentals. With low price points on houses, as well as a lack of quality student rentals, we feel a niche market is untapped and were exploring it further.

The UofW has a Law School as well as the Odette School of Business which offers an MBA program this could be a good opportunity.

That being said, Kory, are we missing anything? Should we be looking at other factors? Have you or any of your clients looked at Windsor at all?

Hi everyone, We're seeking some honest feedback about the Windsor market. Specifically were looking at entering the student rental market in Windsor. Seeking feedback from those investing in the Windsor market as well as those who might live in the area. Could you provide some honest feedback on the area as well as your experience investing in the area. Would welcome any and all feedback. Thanks.

Hey everyone. Relatively new to the site and stumbled upon this particular forum. We have been investing in the Niagara region market with great success and currently have 4 properties in the area. We also got into the Hamilton market a few years ago while it was still relatively inexpensive. @Igor Tomic would be interested in speaking with you as we are seriously considering entering the student rental market in Windsor.

Seeking some input from those from the Windsor area or those who have been investing in the Windsor area. We're looking at investing in student rentals in Windsor and am wondering if anyone has any insights to the local market or the student rental market in that area. Any insight would be greatly appreciated

My partner and I are in the process of looking at software to help our bookkeeping and accounting of our business. We have an accountant and have been using the old and faithful excel to do our books over the past couple of years but was hoping for some suggestions of a relatively easy system that other investors are using. Also, any apps to track mileage from a smartphone would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm in the process of building a joint venture credibility package and going after JV opportunities however need some advice on where to start. We've had a busy 3 months securing 5 properties which has tapped my partner and I on approvals. I'm a big proponent on the old adage that each party must bring something to the table. That being said there is a lot of people "out there looking for JVs" as they say on various forums and I want to differentiate ourselves. Does anyone have a good JV credibility package they would be willing to share either on here or privately?

Hi Everyone,

I've been a member of BP for the past six months and have been following a number of the discussions as well as the podcasts. They are very informative and have only strengthened my desire to expand my real estate portfolio.

Like many of you who have posted in the thread, one of my New Years Resolutions is to be a more active member here on BP and as such have upgraded my membership to PRO.

As I am based in Toronto Canada, I'm interested in becoming part of the community and learning as much as I can that I can implement in my own business here in Canada as there are some differences between the US and Canada.

Looking forward to connecting with many of you over the coming weeks and months ahead.
