Post: Thoughts and Opinions on Norristown

I'm also based in Phoenixville. I'm mainly considering Pottstown and even into Boyertown. Every time I've been in Norristown it just seems a bit too rough. It may very well come up in the next few years, but it seems like a gamble at the moment.

Any updates on the project? Would love to see the finished product and HAR listing.

Hey Naeem,

I actually read the whole thing in one sitting two nights ago. Loved it. Any other recommended books?

Thanks Michael, BP has been great so far. I am slowly but surely learning the real estate lingo. I have loved listening to the podcasts and look forward to learning from all of the experience on these boards.  The Houston market inside the loop seems like a pretty tough place to find good deals without a ton of capital available. If anyone has found a good deal recently I would love to just hear some of the details and get feel for what to look for and how the numbers work.

I am currently a Biostatistics PhD student in Houston. Recently I have had the desire to learn more about investing in real estate. I am in the process of learning as much as I can and would love to jump into doing deals soon.

I would specifically be interested in gathering info about the following markets:

Houston, TX

College Station, TX

Temple, TX

If any one needs some statistics done, I am your man!
