Hi Fellow BP'ers!

I am a Newbie from Peachtree City, GA (South of Atlanta), and I am looking for an investor-friendly brokerage to hang my real estate license with. I am wanting mls access and low monthly fees (just like everyone else, right?). Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I seek out a local brokerage as opposed to looking in the city of Atlanta? What is it that I can offer a broker in exchange for letting me hang my license? I understand that as an "investor", I don't stand to make a lot of money for the broker. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thank you in advance...

Hello Everyone! Newbie here from Peachtree City, GA

I am so excited to be on here! My name is Jerilyn, and I am new to Georgia (South Atlanta/ Peachtree City). I spent several years in San Francisco selling real estate, where I specialized in Lofts, Condos, and New Construction. I'm looking forward to new adventures in RE investing.

I have decided to step into the investing arena, as opposed to being a "traditional" sales agent. I'd like to build a real estate portfolio consisting of several long term "buy and hold" properties, while financing these purchases with wholesaling profits. I think that wholesaling may be a great starting point for me, being a newbie investor. I believe that by learning to successfully wholesale, I will be actively learning how to find the best deals. If I can find great deals, then I may be able to go into different real estate investing directions, as the opportunities arise.

I am currently learning to navigate my way through the vast amount of information on this site. I have to say, what an amazing site this is!! Such a great place to exchange information, and network with like-minded individuals. I am sure I will have a zillion questions along the way, and I am looking forward to this exciting journey : )
