As Chris said, "anyone can sue anyone for any reason at all". But it's probably a waste of time.

Yes you're pissed and rightly so, but instead turn that energy to finding another lender and moving forward. Be upfront with your contractors, etc. that there was a glitch but you would still like to work with them on this deal or another.

Jason V - yes I'd be happy to get together. Was trying to PM you but don't know how to do that - maybe we have to link as "colleagues" before we can PM? I'm still learning how BiggerPockets works!

Hello all - just getting started on BiggerPockets!

I've been investing for some time. Have some experience in several aspects of real estate - buy & hold, flips, wholesale.

I've scanned the forum on and off here at BiggerPockets - but it's time to join in. My plan is to start a member blog to share with local investors (& anyone else who wants to read). I've had some success in real estate, but there's much more I can do & a blog can push me (having a small audience for some accountability). Always more to learn!
