@Paul Timmins @Mark Nolan

Thanks guys for the helpful information. I am currently reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, seems to be the book mention a lot on BPs podcast.

Thanks @Lisa Wright. My partner and I have talked about starting a LLC. I have already discussed a plan that we both need to agree with before we continue on with investing in the future. Nothing has been writing down yet about are plans, and we have not yet purchased property. I think a plan/contract of agreement should be the first step in a partnership. I just don't know how well that hold up if something was to happen between us.

In the next six months a friend and I plan on investing into real estate (buy and hold). My friend currently owns three homes, two he rents out, and one that he resides in. I myself do not own a home, but I am currently saving $1000 a month to put 10% down on our investment. He will cover the other 10% plus we will split any closing cost.

Is there is a blog or forum that someone has posted about doing something similar (investing with a partner/friend). If so, could someone forward me the link. Plus some friendly advice about investing with a partner would be great. Thanks

This is my first question so I'll keep it short. I have not invested into real estate but plan to in the future with a partner. He is a good friend and also coworker who already has invested into real estate. Are there any blogs that are on BP that someone could direct me to? Thanks
