@Justin Shelton You are definitely going to want it to look clean (curb appeal). If it were me I would look into getting a lawn service at the very least. Spending $50 - 100 to clean up the yard is a pretty good investment. As @Account Closed said, "Appraisals are opinionated" and a little effort goes a long way. I was informed by an appraiser recently that if the outside look unkept then there is a belief that the house itself was not maintained so it appraises for less.

I have an LLC for my unit and I intend to do the same for each going forward. As I understand it the LLC will protect me from anyone going after my assets if they sue. They are only able to get what is in the LLC. So for me, each unit will be its own LLC.

If anyone knows more please chime in.

Hello, I joined BP in hopes of learning more about Real Estate Investments. I got my feet wet with a buy and hold a few months ago and now am itching to do more.
