Thanks for all the feedback! The Chinese investors I have been looking to buy in the same market as myself. The good thing is that I already have a property management company to manage the properties, but what I would need is someone to guide me in structure an entity to hold the property along with the best way have them move the money into the entity for purchase.

@Ronald Rohde you seem to have helped Chinese do this before, what's the best way to contact you?

Hi All, I currently live as an expat in China and do REI in Texas area. As my portfolio has grown I've started helping others invest in the Texas area. Since I live and do business in China many Chinese have approached me about US REI. I've done some research but am looking for someone who could guide me in understanding the process to help Chinese citizens purchase real estate in the US. My main questions are around how to structure entities, taxes, profit handling, and overall process.

Thanks!

@Gurpy Ont what sort of issues have you run into concerning dual taxation. This is my main question on this topic.

As for acquiring properties through an LLC this doesn't seem too difficult to solve. The main question is how does a foreigner receive profits if they don't reside in the USA? I have clients who live in China and would like to purchase small multifamily properties in Texas but I haven't been able to find out how they could receive the profits in China.

Do you have any good resources or advice?
