I went to JY Monk and had their text book they send out.  They sell a similar version of the text book that is yellow, it is pretty much the same text book.  I studied the crap out of that book for the state section.  I would not go to their "exam prep class".  There were like yourself some out of state brokers looking to pass the state specific portion and were a little disappointed in the state content.  I would order the text book and study it very closely, especially the sections that have the little grey box saying "in North Carolina".
