We have a local community that I invest in that is going way overboard with their rental ordinance. they are writing up wood piles being only 8 inches above the ground instead of 12, tomato plants (2) need taken down because they are considering them WEEDS!

I know, I know they seemed to have gone away, but has anyone even HEARD of anyone lending a second on investment property in the last year or two? If so could you share details?

When doing a 1031 exchange, I know I have to target 3 properties. I heard that I do not have to buy one of those 3, I can buy a different property not targeted, is this true?
