Hey BP,

Im looking to see which is the best option for me.. Im looking to continue to keep investing in real estate but not sure what my best option is. I live over in Spring Hill, Fl, but am not necessarily have to invest right they're. I work offshore on an oil rig so my time at home is limited. I just got done building a spec home by myself and seeing it and it worked out great, for a guy who is not home all the time. What other options are out there, and are they better or more risky? Thanks for your input!!

@Thomas Rutkowski  and @Josh P...I am just trying to find something where she could make a little extra money. Her home is paid off so her monthly expenses are very minimal, but also don't want the money tied up long term. I know it takes money to make money, just trying to find that low risk, ok return on her money. I know she isn't going to get rich from it, Im just trying to make it so she can spend the earnings and isn't cutting into her capital because she is 57 and hopefully will live a lot longer and she needs the capital to pay bills. Money sitting in the bank is making her like $5 a month..lol

Hey everyone. I lost my dad almost 2 years ago and my mother has never worked. When he passed she received 100K in life insurance money. She isn't real interested in doing flips so I mentioned to her about getting into Tax sales. We live in Spring Hill, Fl , but I really don't know a whole lot about it. She has had her money in the bank almost two years and not making anything on it. Do you guys think this would be a good direction or do you have other suggestions? Thanks for all the input.

Only problem with a home in such rough condition is most likely it would have to be a cash purchase if it is unfinanceable. That limits the amount of people you could sell it to. It just has to make sense number wise, if you can get it at a great price compared to what you can sell it for then go for it. Also, had a wholesaler tell me when I first started that he would buy a home and sell it to just make an additional 5-7k on it. I thought he was crazy. Until I sat down with him and he showed me the over 100 houses he did that with during the year, and then it didnt seem so crazy.

@ Robert Aurie I am interested in investing wherever there is money to be made, just as a realtor not seeing many deals after properties hit the MLS they have already been marked up.

I look for networking groups around the area but I don't really seen anyone posting any meet ups? Is anyone interested in starting a meet up somewhere in the area?

Hey there all. I see all these homes in my area going on auction.com. How is everyones experience with these types of transactions? What is the Final Judgement Amount? If the final judgement amount is 41k is that what they are willing to accept? Is this a public site or do I have to represent myself as a realtor?
