Quote from @Alecia Loveless:

@Jason Baker I attended the University of North Texas in Denton, Tx shortly after high school.

At the time they had a real estate degree (they probably still do). The courses I took during that period in real estate were some of the best and most informative courses I took during my entire college career.

They are probably the only courses I actually have used after graduation.

I think if you want to pursue real estate and can do so in college without a lot of debt that you might learn some really good stuff. I did.

While I don’t regret anything in my life if I was to go back in time I would finish the real estate degree and go into something real estate when I graduated at 22 instead of doing it half-as**ed for years.

I’d easily be $15MM more ahead in my investing career if I’d have focused on that for the 23 years it took me to get really going.

I most definitely will follow pursuit, thank you for the insight and advice.

After leaving the real estate market in 2024 and bringing in the new year of 2025, what are the best updated strategies/approaches to be a successful wholesaler in the Miami Market?

Go direct to seller, learn to source your own deals and you will be successful

Is there Any chance we can connect and build a relationship?

Quote from @Jonathan Greene:

To be successful in Miami, you would need to have some serious capital to compete with the groundswell of experienced investors and developers. Are you saying you left real estate in 2024 and want to come back in 2025 to wholesale in Miami? Why wholesaling?

I didn’t leave lol, but I was speaking in terms of the business in general. I’m a newbie into the space and I saw wholesaling as a great opportunity to get started as an introduction.

Quote from @Taylor L.:

Congratulations for thinking about your future. The statistics are clear, college is still a great investment. If you're a good student and can get into a good college without going very deep into debt, I believe you should go. Get a degree in Finance or Engineering and you'll graduate with a world of possibilities.

Thank you so much I really appreciate the advice and support.

Quote from @Alex Maas:

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. You’re still a teenager so it is easy to see all these “gurus” talk about how rich they are and how they don’t have to work – don’t fall into the trap. If you are using RE investing to try to avoid going to school, your intentions are not in the correct place. The best advice I can give is this: if you weren’t planning on RE would you go to college? If so, go to college and you can work on RE as a side gig or until you have deals under your belt. Real estate takes many years to be able to support yourself, and that’s if you do everything right and the cards fall into place.

Thank you so much I really appreciate the advice and support.
