@Michael S. Appreciate the info bud.

Haven’t even tried to get a loan because everyone keeps scaring me off saying you need net worth to cover the loan

By the way the house was given to me by my father and is paid off.

Ok so, I have been saving and saving and finally have reached close to 200k. There is a building in my area for 700k. I would prefer to buy it alone. I own a house that’s about 140k. I have a decent job making about 65k a year I’m only 26. Everyone keeps telling me I have to have a net worth to cover the loan which I have nowhere near. I also have great credit. This would be my first property is there any way this deal could be done. How can I get a loan to cover the rest of the building price?

@Ryan Daigle thanks bud

@Bjorn Ahlblad. Thanks for the reply

Okay. So I was just wondering, how many apartment complex loans can you have at one time? Also if it takes like 15 years to pay off a building, how do people move up so quick getting more and more buildings?

How do I go about finding a mentor in the apartment complex business? I got a good work ethic, and am very eager to learn the business. I just don’t know where to begin. Any ideas? I’m in the Cleveland area.
