Thank you all for the advice and recommendations. I appreciate the honest feedback and words of caution. I thought I needed to assemble the team first before purchasing, but it makes sense that once we have purchased potential team members will be easier to find.

We are out of state investors looking to acquire our first rental in Cleveland area we are having a hard time finding a property manager willing to manage value add properties that need minor renovations. Any investors or agents with recommendations would be appreciated.

We are looking to restart our search for value add multifamily properties. We are currently living abroad so we need a software that can help us connect with owners who maybe interested in selling their properties. Previously we were using prop-stream and doing mail outs with a separate company. On a bigger pockets podcast I heard about DealMachine. I was wondering if anyone who has used both prop-stream and dealmachine could comment on which was most helpful and time efficient for finding leads for off market investment deals. If you have used another website that you found more helpful for long distance investing, please share.

Thanks for insight. I guess I will need to find another financing strategy for my second property. Or maybe turnkey isn’t the best initial property investment.

I hope to acquire 2 properties this year. We are currently working abroad, so we are looking to invest in a turnkey property as our first real estate acquisition. I want to plan for our second property. Can I borrow against the equity of the first property to put a down payment on the second deal? If so, how long after buying the first property can I borrow against its equity?
