I feel long term rental at MB not bad. quite some people require here. and they won't buy right away. so ... market is pretty good and it is not at the worst place for hurricane. Still not a metro area ....... lack solid high pay job

I heard some comments about Zillow offer. They are losing lots of money, yet people in RE circle believe eventually they will figure out the right model and make a profit on it.

It is only available in lowe price tag area. I am at metro DC zillow will not come here, at least for now.

eventually most market will be impacted except high end luxury homes.

@Melissa Man I was told the RE tax was high but just little bit higher, I recall it was 25% more than owner, I feel it is not that bad. You need to check with local government.

Another bad news is that SC is starting to enforce short term rental tax on vbro airbnb etc. And their rate is outrageous. Long term is better there.

Myrtle beach starts price increase and the days on market gets better.

I am out of state, I like MB.

There are options like condo hotel , good ones will get you 10-12k net for 160k 1Bedroom unit. not that bad. I am not sure about the long term though, it seems getting sold quickly.

@Will Gaston Congrats on your building! I would say RG-2 7000 sq ft for 2 units are good. You may bet 4/2 or 3/2 for each unit.
