Welcome to the site.

Getting licensed is a great way for new investors to get into the game. You can network, learn the business and earn some income all at the same time.

Good luck to you & I'll see your around the forums.

@James Wise Thank you for the welcome! I actually just enrolled to take online courses yesterday to start my license venture. I am super excited!

@Nick Britton Wow! Your story truly inspired me, I can definitely relate when it comes to working for the sake of paying off bills. I also have an obsession with reading books that expand my mind. I really do admire the huge leap of faith you took, it's obvious that it has brought you so far. Thank you for sharing! What are some methods you used in the beginning to locate deals? How to you form a buyers list?

Hello everyone! I am a young professional who has recently relocated to Houston from Columbus, OH. I am not only new to the Houston area but real estate investing as well. I've done a good bit of reading into the business and I've also attended one networking event.  I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what to do in order to get started. I am considering getting licensed for learning and networking purposes, however I am really interested in wholesaling. I am open to any suggestions/advice. Feel free to share your story and/or challenges as a new investor. I look forward to hearing from you all!
