Hello Bigger Pockets community. I'm looking for a mentor in the Austin area. I am new to real estate and would like to shadow someone on a deal. I'm currently attending college and work as an Anesthesia tech in Austin. Any help and advice is welcome. I recently went to a local REIA but it sounded a lot like a sales pitch to me.

Thank you Mr.Bhegani for the heads up.  Mr. Syed, it is ridiculous down here.  I have a few friends who are RE agents and they say it is the hottest market in the U.S.  Houses are sold regularly 20 to 30k over asking price and the bidding war is unbelievable.

Good afternoon yall.  Let me start off by saying that I'm a real estate virgin but having listened to so many BP podcast, I am becoming more interested in real estate.  I have taken the next step and RSVPed to a local Investors club in the Austin area.  There is an overwhelming amount of information here on BP which is a good thing.  Now I just have to use some of it.  I would like to invest in my future and help not just myself but the people around me as well.  It's a pleasure to be a part of your community.  Thank you.
