Post: FHA 203k lenders in Austin

I am also seeking a 203k loan. I will be moving to Austin in three months and I have no experience in purchasing my first home. I do know that I need to pre-approved. Are there any suggestions for a lender who is good with first-time home buyers? Also, any advice would help too.

Some background info: Currently residing in FL. I am a college student currently part-time employed. Saving up right now while paying down credit card debt. Will be my girlfriend and I's first move.

@Elizabeth Wilson I think it's a silly requirement too, and I also think what I have taught my self has impacted me directly in my life twenty fold than the subject material learned throughout college. For example, I used to read many articles on Mens Health/Fitness online as well as through their magazines and I have learned and implemented their many suggestions on what to eat, variations on known workouts and correcting my form. But in school I took nutrition therapy and by then I had already known most of the material. Difference? Freely educated versus hundreds of dollars spent just to say on paper I've taken a nutrition pre-req.

@Rolanda Eldridge Thats what I want! on the job training is what I want, or even just assisting flippers or landlords or remodelers.

@Jeff Filali Very true. These people are set and stone examples of proof you don't need a fancy degree to be successful.

As a student who is actively studying passive income through rental income properties and ETFs, a student who currently holds an AA degree and some extra courses following a science major, and a student who has an affinity for numbers, what do you think is the best bachelor's degree to pursue and why?

I always picture myself running my own company. I catch myself tweaking my own personal finances to make it more sound. I am rebellious enough to withdraw from my university classes until I am able to settle on what exactly do I need in order to achieve early retirement before I am 40, thereby questioning the idea that is carrying an extra $20,000 on top of already owed student loans for a BS the best investment right now? Or is clearing debt while it's still manageable and working on constantly developing more self-knowledge through several mediums( books, articles, mentors, etc) and achieve financial independence sound more fitting?

Every day recently I have gone back and forth ping-pong style on the pros and cons on acquiring a BS degree as soon as possible, even if loans will grow more than two-fold. Understand that I have been showing interest in a financial, accounting and entrepreneurship degree so far.

So, what do you think is the best degree for me? Thanks for the input.
