Hi @Toby Bates, we are certainly not limiting ourselves to Bridgeport but looking in this part of CT because of my girlfriend's work (middle school teacher in Wilton). As we look closer to Wilton the price jumps considerably which is out of our price range right now. Bridgeport/Stratford has been closer to our price range ($275K - $350K).

My girlfriend and I are looking to get started in real estate investing and are pursuing our options through duplexes. Being a younger couple we are looking for options in our price range of around $280K - $350K. Options in Bridgeport appear to be in our price range but we are unsure on the area. Does anyone have insight into areas to avoid or areas to focus on?
