I wanna sell my house. Use half for down payment and half to buy a food truck. Will I have to pay taxes on my equity that I cash out?

Thank Michael! That helps a lot.

If you are married and want to use Fannie Mae loans do you have to apply for them jointly or can you fine for 10 loans a piece? Have any of you done something like this and how did it go?

What are the positives and negatives of a 203k loan?

I’m wanting to get started in real estate. I’ve found a duplex in my area that I would like to house hack. Its the closest me to my budget. But it would not cashflow. It would on the other hand cut my living expenses from $1,300 a month down to $250 a month.

In your opinions would this be one worth looking into still or just move on and wait for a better deal?

@Nick Moore thanks man

I’m trying to understand all of the Real estate terms so that I’m not lost every time I talk to someone that is in the field.

Any good books or videos that you could suggest would be fantastic.
