Thank you for this post @Lee Yoder. I'm currently working on my goal to purchase my first apartment building in the Twin Cities metro area this year and am fighting analysis paralysis & concerns about making a bad deal. Your experience with this deal is inspiring and helpful.

Does anyone have any recommendations for good apartment building property managers in the Twin Cities metro area? 

I'm looking for a 5-20 unit apartment building in Minnesota. Do any of you use ListSource or PROPSTREAM to find leads? Which of these two platforms, or any others, do you suggest and why?

Thank you all for your responses to my question re: whether or not replacing windows adds value. 

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a window replacement company in the Twin Cities, MN, area? There are obviously always ads/solicitations from different companies, especially the "big name" companies, but I'd like to know with whom you've had a good experience and if you'd recommend any company/contractor in particular. Also, I'd appreciate your expertise re: how much of a value-add it really is to replace windows in a 20-year old single family home with original windows.

I did not stop. I won’t make that mistake next time!
