Congrats on the new property. My husband and I have a duplex not far from you with a similar laundry situation. We decided to put a w/d unit upstairs and a separate electrical panel. In the longrun we think this is the best return on investment. If you put laundry upstairs, where would you fit it?

As the title suggestions, does anyone have a general contractor they would recommend and is looking for work in the coming weeks? We are renovating a bathroom in the upper unit of a duplex and would like to give our business to someone small. Located in Northeast Minneapolis, MN.

Has anyone debated obtaining a 'limited brokers license' over a traditional real estate license? I'm trying to determine which makes most sense for self-investment property. To my understanding it provides a more direct relationship with your broker without needing to rely on an agent to see property.
