Post: Picking a Firm to Hang My License

Hey BP community!

Over the last year, I have developed a big interest in real estate investing and have been an avid follower of everything BiggerPockets has to offer. I have recently decided to take the leap into pursuing a career in real estate and am in the process of getting my license in NC. I am getting to the point where I will soon be needing to pick a firm to hang my license with and I was wondering what suggestions you guys might have in completing that process? It can be overwhelming making such a big decision with little connections/expertise in this arena.

My interest is primarily in residential dealings in the Triangle/Triad area, but like I said have a soft spot for the investing side as well. Any suggestions/tips are welcome!

Thanks in advance and am looking forward to getting to know you all as I start this next chapter in my life!
