@Con Lillis A virtual meet up is posted for January. I'm not a big fan of virtual anything, but I've really enjoyed the few we have had. I'm hoping we can schedule an in-person meet up no latter than March.

I just posted a zoom meet up for Albany area investors (Troy, Schenectady and surrounding areas-- this is for you, too!). 

I love the in-person meet ups, but given the current covid numbers this felt like a safer bet for a post-holiday gathering. I'm not a huge fan of virtual gatherings, in general, but I've really enjoyed the handful of zoom meet ups we have done. There is an agenda posted (link to follow)-- feel free to check it out and join! 

The group largely consists of MF investors, but we also have some commercial folks and rehabbers in the group. 

@Jacob K. I know Troy very well and would be happy to chat. We invest heavily throughout Rensselaer County (Troy and surrounding areas). I was also part of the team that founded one of the local schools, so I can speak to the dynamics and growth in that area. We are big Troy fans!

Agenda:

To keep engagement high, we will have a few rounds of share outs and then an open discussion. 

*Introduction- who are you, what is your background, overview of your investing journey

*Lessons learned in 2021- any key takeaways? 

*Goal(s) for 2022

*What do you need right now? Share out a need (e.g., a great contractor, a lender, feedback on an idea). It is likely a member of the group can help. 

*Open Q & A- feel free to stick around for an open dialogue or hop off the call. 

Let's come together and share our goals for the new year and expand our networks to help us achieve them. 

Due to the rising COVID numbers, this will be a VIRTUAL event (link and agenda to follow in comments). I hope we can all connect at in-person events soon!
