It is very impressive the growth that KSU is experiencing at the moment. From the merger with Southern Poly to the Football team coming next year...I'm excited for the potential.

I know how the traffic is though, I live off of wade green road and it still takes 20 minutes sometimes to get to campus.

Also I can definitely see how student housing would be a great opportunity here in Atlanta...especially given the fact that my school (Kennesaw State) just became the 2nd largest university in Georgia. There is a lot of potential for this area. How does maintenance factor in though as a concern with student housing?

Hi Everyone!

My name is James Scheu. I am currently 23 years old and reside in Kennesaw, GA. I am a full time student at KSU and I work full time at Ed Voyles Honda (sales) in Marietta, Ga. I am new to real estate and very eager to learn about this business! While researching certain real estate topics online I came across an article by the founder which led me to sign up. So far I am very pleased with the amount of information available as well as the community on bigger pockets. 

My goal by the time I graduate is to have made my first real estate investment!

With that being said, whoever reads this post....How did you first get your start in real estate investment? What would you say is the single best piece of advice you have to offer for newbies? 

If you have not yet officially begun your journey...what attracted you to real estate?
