Thank you both! We are looking for something that does not require internet if possible as we've learned that adding internet to this old limestone building will be a big undertaking. Henry we would like access via phone or computer and for there to be recording/memory capability, likely the ability to store at least a week's worth of video surveillance.

We have an old 9 unit, 4 story, apartment building that we just acquired 6 months ago (thanks bigger pockets!). We are working on cleaning the property up and badly need a security system with cameras on each floor.  The building does not have internet and when we had a Comcast tech come look they said to get internet on all floors we would need to hire an IT team.  Has anyone else come across this or have ideas? Thanks in advance!

@Cesar Gomez flip a mobile home repeat until you have you down payment to buy an fha home 3% duplex or triplex house hack it for a year save and do more mobile home flips then rent out your unit and repeat that process. Slow and steady you can build wealth and a business behind it.

@Jonathan Feliciano using cash is still costing you interest because it’s costing you interest you could earn. If you can’t earn 2.5% on your money you should pay it off. If you can earn 3% or more on your money you should invest. I can’t see how you can lose in a property if it cash flows at all to be honest. 4 ways to earn in a property taxes, appreciation, cash flow, and mortgage pay down from tenant. Car pay off 1 way to get more cash flow the payment in pocket. All money has interest associated with it even the cash you have in a savings account. That’s a longer discussion but putting your money to work for you is always the best use of a dollar.
