@ Sean McClusky Yes, that's a good point. I'm doing BRRRR's with my 401K money and using the equity from them to pay back the money within 3yrs, so I forgo the regular taxes. As for my IRA, I simply want to cut some additional percentage points now that I've been getting everyone's feedback.

@ David M. Thanks David. I've called my current bank who I have the loan with and they're not offering better rates. Since it's a non-recourse lender I have to speak with specific banks. You're probably right. There's still cheap money out there and I'll need to find better rates.

@Kyle J. Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I should have been more clear! It's for an investment property and not my personal home. Also, the investment is in my IRA and is paid off about 50%.

BP Community,

Since the government's stimulus package for 401k investors has come out I've been thinking about taking money out of my savings and either paying off my high-interest mortgage or simply buying another another cash flowing asset. The current interest rate on my existing loan is 6.6%. It would be great get your opinion. Best-James

Hi Elenis,

Great inspiring post! It certainly goes along way when you are passionate about something and share your time/ideas. Congrats with your endeavors so far.

I mostly invest in properties in Memphis and have a syndication deal Verginia, but I’ve been looking in the Jacksonville area recently. Would be great to connect to possibly look at deals in the future.
