What is the most cost effective way to protect against termites?
The current trend for Pest Control companies is to require a large up front fee…the charge a fee yearly when the service is rendered.
Does anyone have a more cost effective way?

i have a project of 5 duplexes to build...i have all permits etc.

can i do my own Opportunity Zone?

i have up to 3 properties i could sell and move the money into it

is it worthwhile?

any advice would be appreciated

I’m a Real Estate Investor and also have a General Contractor’s License. I’m in the beginning stages of the process to build 5 duplexes.
how do I learn more about this tax credit?

i've got a 5600 sf 2 story building (flat roof) in a fairly rural area of eastern North Carolina. it's within two blocks of a regional hospital and within 20 miles of a small university.

the roof is 22 feet above grade. would this work for a rooftop cell site. if yes, how do i move it forward.

Thanks for your response. I understand you can use any certified/licensed appraiser....

i didn't know if there were companies that specialized in distributions from self directed ira's that understood the need for a conservative appraisal that could be defended to the irs.

Thanks again

For several years I have purchased rental property with my Self Directed IRA.

I'm 67 and would like to start taking a property a year out of my IRA as a distribution.

Does anyone know of a company or an Appraisal Firm that specializes in Valuations of IRAs like this?

i'm in the East, with much the same situation

i'd like to follow this

I have researched modular built apartments some...and would like to know more about them. In NC modulars are built to the state building codes....the same as stick built buildings.

i would take them through the same process as any other prospective property. If they passed an inspection by a certified home inspector, and the numbers pointed up... i would pull the trigger.

please let me know if you hear of any really good modular builders on the east coast.
