I'm a new investor based in CA and found a promising property in (south-ish) Macon, GA. I'll most likely fix and flip, but I'm also considering holding if the rental market is promising.

Does anyone have experience in this area? Any insights on the market, property values, or rental demand? Also, any recommendations for local contractors (I do have a agent & lender lined up)?

Looking to wholesale mainly in the greater east bay to get started. 

Hello BiggerPockets community! I’m James from Alameda, CA. I’m just starting to explore the world of real estate investing here in the Bay Area. I plan to kick off with wholesaling and try out a few fix-and-flip projects. Eventually, I’d like to get into long-term rentals (out of state) and short-term rentals (both in and out of state).

Besides real estate, I’m really into outdoor activities like surfing, mountain biking, kitesurfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and rock climbing. I love being active and enjoying nature whenever I can.
