Hello all,

My fiancé and I have lived in Raleigh for about ten years now. We recently purchased a new home in the area, but we still have our first house that we bought about five years ago and we are now preparing to put it on the market. However, I have been thinking about the idea of renting out the first house instead of selling. Other than new carpet & paint, the house is in great condition. It was just too small for us as we are expecting our first child. Its a 4br/2bath approx. 1500 sq. ft with a fenced yard. Located near Stonehenge. Mortgage is right under $1000/mo. I know that it is a great time to sell, but with the population boom and companies like Apple coming to the area should I consider renting instead? Plus, how did/does the eviction moratorium effect LLs here?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

@Michael Macklin  I will reach out! Thanks!

@Adam Schneider Thanks for the response. I am looking for an agent to simply help me find properties.  If you come across a good GC, please let me know!  Thanks again!

@Andrew K. Thanks for reaching out & for the recommendations! I will most definitely be attending the meeting. Look forward to meeting you!

Hi BP community. I am a new Investor looking to put together a team in both the Raleigh market and in Fayetteville. I have recently flipped a house in Fayetteville and sold it in November. The most difficult part of the entire process was the fact that I had two different contractors who ended up disappearing on me. I am a business owner myself, and I cannot fathom doing business in that manner. I would love some recommendations for both a reliable contractor and a hard a hardworking, investor friendly RE agent in both areas. Prefer an agent that has investments of their own. I am open to flips, but am very interested in buy and hold as well. Looking forward to hearing from you all and networking!

Thanks!
