I did Home Inspections as a GC for a few years. Knowing houses can be a huge advantage for you when looking at fixer houses...

Very true! It'll be a little while before a fixer is something I'm willing to take on. Granted I did remodel my house. I'd like to get to know the right people in my markets first.

Take some classes in construction to round out your skillset. As you know, being able to inspect a house doesn't mean you can build one.....

Absolutely. I forgot to mention I have a contracting background. But furthering one's skillset is always something we all should achieve.

Hi Lexey,

I am open to investing in Portland and open markets. Making sure I get some ducks in a row before launching into this realm. Thanks for reaching out.

For the last 4 years I've started and developed my own Home Inspection company called Bridgetown Inspections. I've done over 1000 Inspections and several of this inspections are for investors. Realizing my future finances could be in jeopardy combined with my absolute love for real estate, I hope to start investing and having the freedom that has been so long desired.
