I am a one man show contractor in the chattanooga area. I understand your frustration. it's very hard to enforce rules on subs. if someone comes to bid a job for you go down the list. do they dress like a pro? do they have shoes in good condition? do they have a clean vehicle? these are signs of how they will treat your job site. I require 40% up front on jobs and the remainder when you are satisfied with my work/performance.
