I'm no expert, but in my opinion, it would be the later. Once all repairs have been completed and the property is ready to rent. Then your rent should be 2% of final cost to you.

New member, living in East Texas. I have a construction background, framing, plumbing, drywall, paint, and minor electrical. I am interested in flips, and plan on doing most of the work myself. At the moment, all I'm doing is reading everything suggested and then some more?! lol....still a little nervous, still a bit confused, but eager to get started!
