Good evening!

I currently employee an accountant ($4,000/year) that has done incredible work for me. He has helped save me tens of thousands, if not a hundred thousand dollars in taxes over the past four years. However, I am now looking to partner with a tax strategist that will be a bit more hands on with my finances, giving me guidance throughout the year (i.e. looking into the future and helping me strategize by giving advise on investments, etc. to help reduce my tax liability) and also someone who specializes in accounting and has all of the correct certifications. I have many mentors who are light years ahead of me who spend $30k-$40k a year for this. At this point, that is a little too steep for me, but trying to find a happy middle ground. Any advise?

In this post, I shared a couple of suggestions on looking for one:

 Thank you!

@Sean O'Keefe & @Aaron Zimmerman I'm happy to be open about finances so maybe you can steer me in the right direction. We have four doors (including a primary) and between my wife and I, we make between $450k-$500k annually.

Thanks for sharing.

20+ real estate CPAs and advisors in this forum. Were not allowed to initial contact. Find one that commenting on your specific situation, or look at their profile to see what they commenting on, reach out, see if it’s a good fit - you’re all set! It’s that simple.
Understood. I will begin my own due diligence then. Thank you!

@James Dager: Perhaps join us at our next Asheville BP meetup. The meetups are casual, networking focused, and roundtable in format. Our second September meetup is next Wednesday morning at 9AM upstairs at The Rhu. No Need to RSVP, but you can if you want on meetup.com. And you can find a little more info there too.

This is awesome!!! I had no idea this was a thing. I will be there!

Hey River! I am always down to talk and network. I am a full time real estate agent that specializes in luxury and residential - you never know how our two worlds could collide. Not sure If I am allowed to share with you my email address on the open forum, but I'll DM you so we can connect!

Hey all -

Been a lurker for a while and finally decided to jump into an account here. Currently I have three doors, am private lending for two land/new construction homes, and looking to grow! Happy to be here!
