I ordered a book from BiggerPockets about a week ago. There is no delivery status, so I was just wondering how long it usually takes before receiving purchased items.

Quote from @Adrienne Rammohan:

Welcome James!  Thanks so much for your service--and we're so happy to have you.  This is a wonderful place to get an education, so have fun getting started!  I'm here in the DMV area (in Montgomery County, MD) so let me know if there's anyone I can help connect you with locally!

Thank you Adrienne for the warm welcome! I've learned a vast amount in this short period of time so I would have to agree. I will be looking forward to working with you in the future.

Hi everyone! My name is James. I'm currently serving in the United States Navy stationed in WA state. I'll be moving to CA next July. I've been reading Brandon Turner's "The Book of Rental Properties" and listening to the BiggerPockets podcast. My wife and I plan on moving to Wilmington, NC after my departure from the Navy in about three years. I want to utilize the VA loan and about 25k+ in savings to purchase multi family and single family properties as short and long term rentals. The goal is to build wealth scaling the multi family properties and to create enough cash flow from the single family homes to live off of. Looking forward to spending time in the BiggerPockets community!

What can you tell me about lease options compared to renting? The positive and negative of both and which one is better.
